Hearing Jaara Jaara 2013 – A Digital Acoustic Sanctuary

Ros Bandt is creating a digital acoustic sanctuary celebrating listening to the JaarJaara box ironbark forest of north central Victoria. This is a 12 month project funded by a project fellowship of the Australia Council. Follow it every week to experience the changing sounds of the Australian bush and see how a new electro-acoustic piece evolves towards a performance of Jaara Jaara Seasons on November 3rd, in the bush. Ode to Margaret

Invitation to the recital centre for fundraising concert for Margaret Lyttle, former headmistress of Preshil, an inspiring free school educationist who inspired me a great deal, She is 100. I have written a new work ode to Margaret in her honour and will perform this on Sunday in the recital centre.
